Review Sessions

How to start a review session, rate cards, and track your progress.

A review session shows you the flashcards that are due today. You flip each card, decide how well you knew it, and Repeatica schedules the next review automatically.

Starting a review

iOSAndroid

Tap the Review tab in the bottom navigation bar. If you have cards due, you'll see the count and a Start Review button.

Web

Click Review in the sidebar. Cards due today are shown with a count badge.

The review flow

  1. See the front — The question side of the card is shown first.
  2. Flip the card — Tap or click to reveal the answer.
  3. Rate yourself — Choose how well you knew it:
RatingWhen to use
AgainDidn't know it / got it completely wrong
HardKnew it but struggled significantly
GoodKnew it with some hesitation
EasyKnew it immediately and confidently
  1. Next card — The next due card appears automatically.

Be honest with your ratings — the algorithm works best when your self-assessment is accurate.

Finishing a session

When all due cards have been reviewed, you'll see a completion screen with stats: cards reviewed, time spent, and a performance breakdown by rating.

Reviewing cards from a specific note

You can review only the flashcards from one note rather than all due cards at once.

iOSAndroid

Open a note, go to the Remember tab, and tap Start Session.

Web

Open a note, click the Remember tab, and click Start Session.

Tips for consistency

Do your review at the same time every day. Once your cards are spread across the schedule it only takes a few minutes — the habit matters more than the volume.
