Review Sessions
How to start a review session, rate cards, and track your progress.
A review session shows you the flashcards that are due today. You flip each card, decide how well you knew it, and Repeatica schedules the next review automatically.
Starting a review
Tap the Review tab in the bottom navigation bar. If you have cards due, you'll see the count and a Start Review button.
Click Review in the sidebar. Cards due today are shown with a count badge.
The review flow
- See the front — The question side of the card is shown first.
- Flip the card — Tap or click to reveal the answer.
- Rate yourself — Choose how well you knew it:
| Rating | When to use |
|---|---|
| Again | Didn't know it / got it completely wrong |
| Hard | Knew it but struggled significantly |
| Good | Knew it with some hesitation |
| Easy | Knew it immediately and confidently |
- Next card — The next due card appears automatically.
Be honest with your ratings — the algorithm works best when your self-assessment is accurate.
Finishing a session
When all due cards have been reviewed, you'll see a completion screen with stats: cards reviewed, time spent, and a performance breakdown by rating.
Reviewing cards from a specific note
You can review only the flashcards from one note rather than all due cards at once.
Open a note, go to the Flashcards tab, and tap Review These Cards.
Open a note, click the Flashcards tab, and click Review.
Tips for consistency
Do your review at the same time every day. Once your cards are spread across the schedule it only takes a few minutes — the habit matters more than the volume.
